Born and raised in the UK. Hannah is a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and founder of Lelou Wellness.

I have been practicing yoga for the past 10 years. While I had dabbled in other kinds of yoga previously, the moment I stepped foot into my first Iyengar yoga class changed the game for me!

At that time I could barely touch my knees, let alone my toes. When I started, I was mainly doing it for the physical benefits but there was an indescribable feeling I got after every class that kept me going back to the mat. A couple of months in, I approached my teacher, Leo and expressed my interest in training to become a teacher, shocked to find out it takes 7 years to train!

I was lucky enough to train with Lin Craddock as my mentor, one of only a few Senior Level 3 teachers in the UK. Those seven years were some of the most enriching, rewarding, rigorous at times and transformative moments in my life. Although, the training is a lot longer than other kinds of yoga, I feel it is so necessary to prepare you to take on the responsibility of teaching others. The emphasis on the training was that in order to teach it, you first need to experience it.

Seven years of hands on experience has given me the confidence and ability to ensure that every student in my class, receives the support they need.

Having trained in Nutrition and Health coaching, wellbeing is infused into every part of my life and I have experienced first hand that when we give our bodies the care, nourishment and balance it deserves, we feel brighter and more empowered to take on the world.

It is such a privilege to teach a subject that has affected my own life so deeply and to be able to share this with others. My teaching style is friendly, encouraging and, most importantly, fun.

I hope we meet on the mat sometime soon!
