Terms and Conditions

Cancellations Policy

  • We understand that sometimes circumstances change and you may need to cancel a class. Please note the following terms when cancelling classes and receiving refunds…

    a) if you are an individual who has booked a scheduled class organised by the teacher, you may cancel free of charge, up to 24 hours before the start time of the class. Within 24 hours of the start time, you will be charged the full amount for the class.

    b) if you are an individual that has booked a course or block of classes and wishes to cancel the entire block, you may cancel free of charge, up to 24 hours before the start time of the first scheduled class. Within 24 hours of the start time of the first scheduled class, you will be charged the full amount for the block of classes. Please note, due to the fact that courses or blocks of classes are often already discounted, if, for any reason, you were unable to attend one or more of the classes within the block, you will not be entitled to a refund for this.

    c) if you have organised for a private one to one or private group (2 or more people) session, outside of the teachers regular scheduled classes, we ask that you give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel. You can, however, cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before the class start time. Within 72 hours of the start time, you will be charged the full price for the class.

Health

  • It is your responsibility to inform your teacher of any injuries you may have before each class and to be mindful and respectful of your body’s capabilities throughout the class. If you feel unwell, dizzy, sick or have any pain, strain or discomfort during the class, please inform your teacher immediately.

  • Every student must fill out a health declaration form before attending class, detailing any mental or physical health conditions, injuries, recent surgeries and allergies. If you have any health conditions that may be affected by the class, we reserve the right to refuse your participation in the class, in the interest of your health and safety.

  • Should you have any health concerns or doubts, it is your responsibility to consult a doctor to ensure you are fit and able to attend the class.

  • Whilst all measures are taken to ensure a high standard of health and safety, and Iyengar Yoga teachers are well trained to ensure that you have a safe experience during the class, we cannot accept any liability for personal injury related or unrelated to participating in a class.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you accept that yoga practice is a physical activity and therefore carries the risk of physical or mental injury. You also accept that, when participating in a class, it is your individual responsibility to not go beyond your personal limits and abide by the instructions of the teacher at all times.
